Kodak Moment Tips
After reading the tips on this website I learned:
1. When shooting pictures of a person, leveling the camera so that the subject could make eye contact with the camera creates a connection with the viewer.
2. To make your subject of the picture stand out, it is best to use a basic or blank background so that the viewer focuses on it rather than a distraction in the back
3. Lighting from the sun could create odd looking shadows in a photograph, so using flash outside gets rid of them.
4. Moving in closer or zooming into the subject of your picture is better to get details, but getting too close will make it blurry.
5. Sometimes moving the focus of your picture to the side instead of the center makes the picture look better.
6. Most cameras automatically focus on what's in the center. Locking your focus on the subject when moving it off the center helps keep the subject the main idea of the picture.
7. There is a range to the flash on your camera and if you take flash photography of something too far, even with the flash on it'll be dark. Don't take pictures out of your flash range.
8. Lighting is important and effects the mood of your picture. It can make things look better.
9. Sometimes pictures look better at a vertical angle and its mostly when the object of your photo is tall.
10. For most cameras about three feet is the closest focus.
